This beautiful Glynde Place wedding took place on a scorching hot summers day – as seems to be the case every time I’m at Glynde …… just saying! ;) hahaha
My lovely bride S got ready at her parents house on the Brighton Sea front which was a treat for me to get to see in side those gorgeous apartments that I admire from afar. Glynde Place is only about a 15min drive from Brighton so getting ready in Brighton is an easy option for any couple wanting to get married at Glynde. I will also list a couple of lovely local accommodation sites at the bottom of this post which are both located only a few mins drive from Glynde Place in East Sussex, outside of Brighton and close to Lewis.
Glynde Place has to be one of my most favourite ceremony rooms of all time! It doesn’t matter which end you get married at, as they both produce stunning images. This wedding worked best at the end you see in the photos with this particular wedding because it gave Betty Rose Flowers magnificent flower arch the best backdrop to be shown off to it’s best, and the aisle full of candles looked stunning in the dark wood backdrop of the room.
Afterwards we all headed outside for drinks on the terrace over looking the stunning Sussex Countryside and Glynde Estate. The steps outside the entrance to the house make a great and easy backdrop for group photos which is what we did before guests headed over the marquee for dinner, while guests strolled over, I managed to grab my couple for a quick few portraits inside the house on the stairs where we were out of the harsh and hot sun and they have such lovely window light that it makes the perfect spot, whatever the weather is! My couple, just as many others, weren’t keen on having too many portraits so we kept the session very short and then headed over to join their guests for a delicious Italian meal made by Sara at Squisito Catering.
The rest of the day was just beautiful under the slowly setting sun, everyone drank, danced and sat around on the grass chatting, a wonderful summer wedding.
Ohhhhh and this Sassy thing had a change of dress!! Loooook!!!!!! Absolutely loved it!! Everyone should get to wear at least TWO outfits hehehehe When else will you get the excuse! ;)
