Gahhhh!!! Even later than last year!! Here is a selection of some of my favourite documentary wedding photography images from across my weddings that took place everywhere from Sussex and Kent to Essex and London and across the country!

As always it was so hard to narrow the choice down, and I again choose to show only documentary moments. Not only because I am a documentary wedding photographer and thats what I specialise in but also because I feel these are the moments that show the joy, atmosphere, fun and personality of a wedding day – it’s not only about the couple and their portraits but about their family and friends and the real moments that make up each individual wedding – and the bits that my couples don’t often get to see but afterwards will serve as an amazing reminder of their day and fill in the gaps for them.
Last year took me to fields, woods, barns, houses, restaurants, pubs, boats and a zoo!
There were Kilts, Ceilidhs and cakes, bouncy castles, tipis, tents and tears, garden games, glitter, shots and cigars and musical chairs ‘first dance’. There were cows, dogs and dhol drumming and A WHOLE LOT of crazy dancing, face pulling, shape making silliness and best of all LOTS of love and laughter!

I am sure I am going to write similar every year because it’s so true and because I am so lucky that I simply get THEEE best couples and families, but it really was another fantastic year – as you’ll see – with more fabulous couples and I must thank every one of them and their families for making me feel really welcome, treating me like an old friend and allowing me just to do my thing in capturing unique and real moments that tell a wonderful story to be remembered for ever!
Going back through last years weddings makes me really excited for what 2018 might bring and all the new couples who’s wonderful day I will get to share and who’s lives I’m going to get to dip my toes into ………. and then not want to leave …….. so watch out!  ;)
